Garment bag development

Custom Garment Bags for Travel, Retail & Private Label

Develop a garment bag from the garment length, handling method and presentation task—not from a generic cover size. LISO can review structure, material, branding and packing as one specification.

The shown LISO image illustrates development directions. Exact formats, commercial quantities, timing and documentation are confirmed against the selected specification; the image is not a stock-SKU promise.

Custom garment bag development directions for suits dresses and travel
Garment length, fold, hanger access, carry balance and brand presentation belong in one approved product specification.

Program fit

Define what the garment bag must do

Travel, retail handoff, formalwear and uniform handling create different requirements. These are specification routes to confirm, not a claim that every option is a current stock item.

Travel carrier

Define folded size, carry balance, handles, hanger access and pockets around the intended trip and garment.

FoldCarryTravel

Fashion & retail

Plan the handoff experience, garment protection, brand area, labels and final folded or hanging presentation.

RetailBrandingPresentation

Hospitality & uniform

Specify garment type, identification, repeated handling and storage workflow before selecting construction.

Specification map

Record the open state and the carry state

A useful drawing shows how the garment hangs, how the bag folds, where the load transfers and how the customer receives it.

Material and construction

Choose fabric after protection and presentation are defined

Polyester or nylon, non-woven routes, cotton/canvas directions, lining and window materials behave differently. Denier, coating and fiber name do not prove finished-bag performance by themselves.

Protection route

Surface, breathability, cleaning, abrasion exposure and moisture conditions should be stated before material approval.

Carry route

Handle attachment, fold hardware, strap points and base support are reviewed on the final construction.

Buyer questions

Frequently asked before sampling

Can one garment bag fit every suit and dress?

No. Garment length, shoulder width, volume, fold and hanger access must match the intended garment and handling method.

Can you confirm one MOQ for every garment bag?

No. Quantity depends on pattern, material, hardware, artwork and packing. It is confirmed with the selected specification.

Does a higher denier guarantee a better garment bag?

No. Denier describes yarn linear density. Fiber, weave, coating, fabric weight, seams and finished-product construction also affect the result.

Can the logo be approved before the material?

The direction can be planned early, but final method, size, color and placement should be approved on the selected material and panel.

What should the sample review include?

Check garment fit, open and folded dimensions, hanger access, closures, pockets, carry balance, branding and packing presentation.
